About the role

Join Royal Mail as a Collections Driver on a 9‑month fixed‑term contract, working part‑time in the West Midlands. You will be part of a dedicated team that collects and delivers mail, ensuring timely service for local customers.

Key responsibilities

• Collect mail from post‑boxes and business customers at scheduled times.
• Visit post offices and drop off collected items at processing centres.
• Handle a variety of items, including election materials and special deliveries.
• Maintain accurate records of collections and deliveries.
• Ensure the security and proper handling of all mail on your route.

Required profile

• Upbeat, independent and self‑motivated.
• People‑person with a strong sense of community.
• Willing to walk for long periods and work in any weather.
• Looking for flexible shift patterns.

Required skills

• Full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
