Commercial Account Handler – Hybrid – Manchester

About the role

We are looking for a Commercial Account Handler to join a leading independent insurance broker in Manchester. The role offers hybrid working (two days in the office) and provides direct access to Lloyd's of London and a wide network of specialist markets.

Key responsibilities

• Manage commercial insurance accounts for SME clients across the North West.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the main point of contact.
• Source and place insurance solutions using the broker’s market access, including Lloyd's of London.
• Utilise the Acturis system to process policies, renewals and claims.
• Collaborate with the Manchester team to deliver high‑performing, client‑focused service.

Required profile

• Approximately 5 years of experience in commercial broking or account handling.
• Broad knowledge of cross‑class SME sectors.
• Organised, proactive and able to hit the ground running.
• Willingness to develop further within a supportive team environment.
