About the role

Huru is seeking a Commercial & Growth Lead to professionalise its market presence and drive early‑stage sales activities for its wearable EEG platform. This remote‑first position, with one day per week on‑site near Tetbury, will work closely with founders and external agencies to translate technical knowledge into clear commercial messaging.

Key responsibilities

  • Own inbound enquiries, lead qualification, CRM discipline and early‑stage sales follow‑up.
  • Act as the main point of contact for the PR agency, providing assets, quotes and technical context.
  • Lead the website overhaul, coordinating external web, creative and content partners.
  • Create and improve sales collateral, product explainers, FAQs, email templates, case‑study inputs and onboarding resources.
  • Develop simple, professional after‑sales and customer support processes.
  • Define commercial messaging for researchers, clinicians, partners and future customers.
  • Map priority conferences, publications, customer segments and partnership opportunities.
  • Introduce structure to the commercial function so founders are no longer the sole drivers of leads and assets.

Required profile

  • 5‑10 years of experience in medical device sales, marketing, growth, customer success or commercial operations.
  • Proven experience working with US healthcare providers and research organisations.
  • Background in B2B sales of medical devices, scientific equipment or related technologies.
  • Comfortable in a small‑to‑medium enterprise environment and adaptable to evolving needs.
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to explain complex products clearly.
  • Experience managing agencies, freelancers or external creative partners.
