Commercial Paralegal – In‑House Legal Team

About the role

Join a high‑performing in‑house legal team at a leading financial services and fintech firm. The Commercial Paralegal will support the General Counsel in day‑to‑day legal operations, focusing on commercial contracts, governance and data‑privacy projects. This role is ideal for a proactive professional who enjoys process improvement and stakeholder management.

Key responsibilities

• Review and manage routine commercial contracts and NDAs.
• Act as the primary contact for legal requests and workflow management.
• Oversee governance and company secretarial activities, including board administration.
• Maintain corporate records and manage entity administration.
• Contribute to data‑privacy, compliance and other legal projects.
• Deliver legal operations initiatives, process improvements and legal‑technology projects.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of commercial experience as a paralegal, legal assistant or legal administrator.
• Experience reviewing contracts.
• A law degree or equivalent qualification.
• Ability to commute to Birmingham or London.
