Commercial Solicitor – Health Sector (Manchester/Liverpool)

About the role

We are seeking a Commercial Solicitor to join a leading national law firm’s Health Commercial team, operating from either Manchester or Liverpool. The role involves advising healthcare providers, public sector bodies and private clients on high‑value commercial contracts and complex public procurement projects.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on a wide range of commercial agreements for healthcare and public sector clients.
• Support and manage public procurement matters, including drafting and reviewing procurement documentation.
• Negotiate and finalize commercial contracts, ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships and contribute to business development within the health sector.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor or equivalent with solid experience in commercial law.
• Demonstrated experience in public procurement, preferably within healthcare or the broader public sector.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
• Strong communication skills and a client‑focused approach.

Required skills

• Knowledge of procurement legislation and relevant regulatory frameworks.
• Expertise in drafting, negotiating and reviewing commercial contracts.
