Communications & Marketing Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a Communications & Marketing Assistant to support Apollo’s marketing, communications and employee‑engagement initiatives. Reporting to the Marketing & Communications Specialist, you will help ensure that content, campaigns, events and business projects are delivered to a high standard across internal and external channels.

Key responsibilities

• Publish and manage content on internal communications, social media and marketing platforms, maintaining accuracy and schedule.
• Coordinate communications activities, including content calendars, journalist interviews, campaign support and marketing team meetings.
• Assist with onboarding of new joiners by organising headshots, introductory content and engagement activities.
• Support planning and execution of internal and external events, handling invitations, attendee communications, venue logistics and administration.
• Maintain branded merchandise inventory and oversee distribution for teams, events and initiatives.
• Monitor shared communications inboxes and ensure timely responses.

• Strong organisational abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in using content management and social media publishing tools.
• Experience with event coordination and logistics management.
