Community Manager – AI Data Automation Platform

About the role

Matillion is looking for a Community Manager to transform its B2B SaaS community into a dynamic, AI‑enhanced hub where data professionals connect, share knowledge and grow. You will own the community strategy, modernise platforms and drive AI‑powered features that increase engagement and showcase technical expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the community roadmap, turning the current static forum into an interactive, AI‑driven experience.
• Manage and modernise community platforms including Discourse, Ideas Portal, Stack Overflow and Reddit, ensuring branding, content and functionality are up‑to‑date.
• Implement front‑end improvements using HTML and JavaScript to keep the user experience sharp.
• Coordinate a schedule of technical contributors (Solution Architects, Technical SAs, engineers) to maintain regular, high‑quality participation.
• Lead the AI integration project: research options, collaborate with AI Technical Lead and Metrics team, and deliver features such as chatbots and enhanced search.
• Analyse engagement data, define success metrics and continuously optimise the community for Matillion’s B2B SaaS customers.

Required profile

• Proven community management experience in a B2B SaaS environment.
• Comfortable working in ambiguous, fast‑moving settings and taking ownership of high‑visibility projects.
• Strong organisational and project‑management abilities.
