About the role

We are seeking a Community Nursery Nurse (Band 4) on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract to cover maternity leave. Working 36 hours per week, you will join the Tweeddale & Eildon Health Visiting Team and support families with children aged 0‑5 across the Scottish Borders.

Key responsibilities

Provide parenting support and health promotion to families with young children.
Identify and address health inequalities, encouraging healthy development.
Collaborate with health visitors to deliver community‑based nursing care.
Travel between Galashiels and Haylodge health centres and visit families throughout the region.

Required profile

Enthusiastic, motivated and able to work flexibly.
Registered nurse with experience or interest in community child health.
Commitment to a 12‑month fixed‑term role covering maternity leave.
Legal right to work in the United Kingdom.
