About the role
KONE is seeking a Construction Manager to lead lift and escalator installation operations across Exeter and Plymouth. You will be responsible for delivering projects safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards while collaborating with engineers, project managers, and key stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and manage installation teams across multiple sites.
- Ensure all projects meet KONE safety and quality standards.
- Drive productivity, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
- Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets.
- Build strong relationships with customers, contractors, and internal teams.
- Support and develop engineers through coaching and performance management.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations.
- Identify risks and implement proactive solutions.
Required profile
- Proven experience in construction or installation management, preferably in lifts, escalators or a similar industry.
- Strong leadership and people‑management abilities.
- Solid understanding of health & safety regulations in construction environments.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Commercial awareness and problem‑solving mindset.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
