Conveyancing Fee Earner or Solicitor (Hybrid)

About the role

Our client, an established conveyancing practice in Manchester, is seeking an experienced Conveyancing Fee Earner or Solicitor to join the team on a hybrid basis. The role involves managing a full caseload of residential and commercial property transactions from instruction through to completion and file closure.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day conveyancing caseload, overseeing each transaction from instruction to completion, registration and closure.
• Take instructions from senior conveyancers and draft legal documents such as standard precedent letters, contract packs, exchange letters, freehold AP1 forms and bespoke correspondence.
• Prepare and send post‑completion paperwork, including Land Registry applications, Stamp Duty Land Tax submissions and final file closures.
• Maintain accurate account ledgers and ensure all documentation is filed correctly.

Required profile

• Previous experience in property conveyancing or a related legal field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with a variety of personalities.
• Strong organisational, time‑management and multi‑tasking abilities.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently or as part of a team and committed to equality and diversity.
