Conveyancing Paralegal – Residential Property (London)

About the role

Our client, an established London law firm, is seeking a motivated Conveyancing Paralegal to support residential property transactions. You will work alongside solicitors, handling sales, purchases and leasehold matters while developing your legal expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Assist solicitors in managing high‑value residential property deals, from initial instruction to completion.
• Conduct legal research, prepare reports and support due‑diligence activities.
• Draft contracts, lease agreements and related documentation.
• Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders and other professionals to ensure smooth progress.
• Handle post‑completion tasks such as SDLT submissions and Land Registry applications.
• Maintain compliance with property law and firm policies.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience as a residential property paralegal within a law firm.
• Proven ability to manage your own caseload, with supervision available.
• Strong understanding of property law and transaction processes.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Professional communication skills and ability to build client relationships.
