Corporate Tax Solicitor – £90k+ (DOE) – Birmingham

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced solicitor to join a leading tax team in Birmingham, delivering high‑quality, technically challenging corporate tax work for UK and international clients.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert advice on a range of corporate tax matters, including UK and international tax issues.
• Apply technical knowledge to develop practical, client‑focused solutions.
• Work on both advisory and transactional assignments, depending on experience and specialism.
• Contribute to team development and knowledge sharing.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues.

Required profile

• Minimum of 5 years post‑qualification experience (PQE) in corporate tax, preferably within a transactional or advisory practice.
• Strong commercial awareness and client‑management capabilities.
• Proactive, organised approach with the ability to manage an independent caseload.

Required skills

• Deep technical knowledge of UK and international corporate tax rules.
• Excellent drafting, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Clear understanding of corporate tax structures, including real estate or funds specialisms.
