Counterbalance & Bendi Forklift Driver – 4 on/4 off Shifts

About the role

We are recruiting for a leading manufacturer in the chemicals, plastics, polymers and coatings sector. The role involves operating counterbalance and bendi/flexi forklift trucks to support warehouse and logistics operations on a rotating 4‑on/4‑off continental shift pattern.

Key responsibilities

• Operate Counterbalance and Bendi/Flexi forklift trucks safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload vehicles and move raw materials, packaging and finished products throughout the manufacturing facility.
• Store stock accurately within warehouse locations and racking systems.
• Prepare and load outbound deliveries for UK and international customers using warehouse management systems and handheld scanners.
• Carry out stock checks, maintain inventory accuracy and complete daily forklift safety inspections.
• Follow health, safety, quality and environmental procedures and keep the work area clean and organised.

Required profile

• Valid Counterbalance FLT licence and valid Bendi/Flexi FLT licence.
• Previous experience operating FLTs in a warehouse, logistics or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work a rotating 4‑on/4‑off shift pattern covering days and nights.
• Strong awareness of health and safety procedures and good attention to detail.
