Court of Protection Solicitor – £80k+ (DOE)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Court of Protection Solicitor to join our established team in Birmingham. You will work with vulnerable individuals who lack mental capacity to manage their financial affairs, providing specialist legal support across the UK.

Key responsibilities

• Act for protected parties in high‑value personal injury and clinical negligence matters.
• Manage a varied caseload, ensuring timely and accurate case progression.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, deputies, case managers and other professionals.
• Deliver compassionate, client‑focused advice and representation.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years post‑qualification experience (PQE) in Court of Protection work.
• Demonstrated commitment to exceptional client care and relationship building.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational abilities.
• Meticulous attention to detail and proactive problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively while managing an independent caseload.
• Positive attitude, enthusiasm and genuine passion for Court of Protection law.
