About the role

Reeson Education is seeking a reliable and confident Cover Supervisor to deliver pre‑set lessons and maintain a focused classroom environment in a Sheffield school starting September 2026.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver pre‑set lessons and ensure pupils stay on task.
• Maintain strong behaviour management and uphold school policies.
• Encourage pupil participation and support completion of assigned tasks.
• Provide feedback to teaching staff on pupil performance and behaviour.
• Collaborate with school staff to ensure smooth lesson delivery.

Required profile

• Experience working with young people in an educational or similar setting.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Calm, confident approach to managing groups and handling challenging situations.
• Proactive and reliable work ethic.
• Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
