About the role
We are seeking a confident, self‑starting Credit Controller to join our expanding team at Learning People. The role is full‑time, based in our Hove office, and requires a positive, can‑do attitude, strong communication skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the aged debt book across all regions and maintain debt at appropriate levels.
- Actively reduce default rates by contacting customers via phone and email to chase invoice payments.
- Liaise with customers and third‑party finance providers to deliver excellent service.
- Monitor and reconcile customer accounts promptly, handle cash allocation and daily payment runs.
- Resolve internal and external queries and perform ad‑hoc duties as required.
Required profile
- Proven experience in credit control.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Confident telephone communication.
- Strong mathematical and computer aptitude.
- High level of attention to detail.
