Dance Teacher – KS3 & KS4 (London)

About the role
Reeson Education is supporting a large mainstream secondary school in Lambeth that seeks a passionate Dance Teacher for KS3 and KS4 from September 2026. The school, rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted, offers a vibrant community where high aspirations and creative learning are encouraged.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver engaging dance lessons to KS3 and KS4 students in line with the latest examination specifications.
- Follow departmental schemes of work and maintain accurate attendance records using SIMS.
- Utilise resources, ICT, and health & safety procedures to enhance learning.
- Manage classroom behaviour according to the school’s policy.
- Participate in in‑service training, observations, and feedback sessions as directed by the Head of Department.
Required profile
- Imaginative, inspirational and innovative teaching style.
- Passionate about dance education and able to motivate both students and staff.
- Committed to making a difference and supporting high standards.
- Creative, adaptable and open to change.
Required skills
- Strong knowledge of current dance examination specifications.
- Familiarity with the SIMS attendance recording system.
