Deputy General Manager – Imaging (Senior Leadership)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic leader to join the UHDB Imaging team as Deputy General Manager. In this pivotal role, you will act as a key partner to the General Manager, driving operational excellence and shaping the strategic direction of our Imaging business unit across multiple sites.

Main Missions

• Provide high-level operational support and deputize for the General Manager in daily management and strategic decision-making.
• Drive financial performance to meet budgetary forecasts and ensure the successful delivery of all contractual activities.
• Lead and manage multi-modal imaging services, including Radiography, Ultrasound, Mammography, Nuclear Medicine, CT, MRI, and Interventional Radiology.
• Oversee complex service delivery across multiple locations, including Royal Derby Hospital and Queens Hospital Burton.
• Plan and execute modernization projects and local service improvement plans to enhance patient care.
• Ensure strict compliance with national clinical quality indicators and local organizational policies.
• Foster effective communication between departments to guarantee safe, efficient, and patient-centered care.

Candidate Profile

• Proven track record in senior healthcare management or operational leadership within a complex clinical environment.
• Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale teams and diverse medical equipment modalities.
• Strong financial acumen with experience in meeting performance targets and managing budgets.
• Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to drive change and implement strategic visions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
