Deputy Managing Director – Executive Leadership Role

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Deputy Managing Director to work alongside the Managing Director and drive the next phase of growth for our client‑based organisation in Liverpool city centre. This senior executive role will oversee multiple functions, lead transformational change and ensure profitable, sustainable performance.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the Managing Director to deliver company strategy and business goals.
• Lead performance across Operations, Commercial, IT and support functions.
• Drive operational excellence, efficiency and profitability.
• Lead major business improvement and transformation initiatives.
• Develop and inspire senior leaders and management teams.
• Ensure strong governance, compliance and risk management.
• Provide clear reporting, insight and recommendations to support business growth.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in a senior leadership or executive role.
• Strong commercial and operational management expertise.
• Track record of delivering growth, change and business improvement.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience within professional services or legal services is preferred.
