Deputy Operations Manager – Front of House

About the role

Zara Battersea Power Station is seeking a Deputy Operations Manager to lead front‑of‑house activities. You will ensure smooth store operations, drive performance against KPIs and create a welcoming environment for customers and colleagues.

Key responsibilities

• Lead front‑of‑house operations across the sales floor, fitting rooms, cash desks and customer service areas.
• Oversee product availability through effective replenishment and stock flow processes.
• Maintain high store standards, manage queue and fitting‑room operations, and supervise Click & Collect and refund services.
• Coach the team on the use of store technology and digital tools to maximise performance.
• Partner with back‑of‑house, loss‑prevention and other departments to ensure seamless communication and execution.
• Drive health, safety and sustainability initiatives and act as an ambassador for Zara’s environmental projects.

Required profile

• Previous management experience in a fast‑paced retail environment.
• Strong operational leadership with a proven track record of driving performance against KPIs.
• Experience developing and coaching teams, handling recruitment, onboarding and wellbeing initiatives.
• Good understanding of retail systems, operational processes and customer‑service excellence.
