Deputy Store Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Deputy Store Manager to join our Vilgain store team in London. You will be the Store Manager’s right hand, supporting day‑to‑day operations and helping create a welcoming experience for customers.

Key responsibilities

• Work closely with the Store Manager and step in during their absence.
• Lead the sales team – motivate members, plan shifts and onboard new colleagues.
• Oversee daily operations, from cash desk handling to stock management and orders.
• Ensure customers feel welcome and maintain a great atmosphere in the store.
• Perform active sales, provide customer advice and represent the Vilgain brand.
• Participate in projects that drive the retail business forward.

Required profile

• Retail experience with proven team‑leadership abilities.
• Interest in a healthy lifestyle and enjoyment of sharing knowledge.
• Proactive “Aktivňák” attitude – gets things done and seeks improvement.
• Excellent communication skills, able to convey information clearly.
• Comfortable working shifts and adapting to store needs.
• Enjoys challenges, a fast‑paced environment and leading by example.
