Designer – Modular Construction

About the role

We are seeking a Designer to join a fast‑growing modular construction business delivering technically innovative projects across the UK. The role covers the full design lifecycle, from technical design and BIM modelling through to manufacturing support and site construction.

Key responsibilities

• Produce technical drawings and Revit models for modular building projects.
• Support design development across RIBA stages 1–5.
• Create construction details, schedules and technical packages.
• Coordinate design information with consultants and suppliers.
• Assist with technical compliance, regulatory standards and UK Building Regulations.
• Support manufacturing and on‑site construction design processes.
• Contribute to BIM Level 2 coordination and overall project delivery.
• Collaborate closely with internal design and project teams.

Required profile

• Experience in architectural, technical or modular design.
• Degree, HNC/HND or equivalent qualification preferred.
• Organised, collaborative approach with interest in modular/off‑site construction.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Revit.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Strong technical detailing ability.
• Understanding of UK Building Regulations and compliance.
• Experience with BIM Level 2 coordination.
