DevOps Engineer (SC Cleared) – 6-month Contract in London

About the role

We are seeking a SC‑cleared DevOps Engineer to join a regulated Financial Services programme in London. The role is hybrid and focuses on deploying an Enterprise Detection and Response (EDR) solution across a large, cloud‑native estate.

Key responsibilities

• Support the rollout of EDR tooling across Azure cloud servers, Kubernetes clusters and containerised workloads.
• Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or equivalent.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code with Terraform.
• Troubleshoot and optimise cloud infrastructure using monitoring and observability tools.
• Collaborate with platform, security and infrastructure teams to ensure secure‑by‑design deployments.

Required profile

• Proven experience working in Azure cloud environments.
• Strong background in CI/CD pipeline creation (GitHub Actions or similar).
• Hands‑on experience with Terraform or other IaC tools.
• Solid networking knowledge (DNS, VPN, load balancing, firewalls).
• Experience with Kubernetes and containerised workloads.
• Familiarity with observability platforms such as Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace, AppDynamics or Splunk.
• Previous work in DevOps or SRE roles within regulated sectors (Financial Services or Government) is desirable.
• Current SC security clearance.
