About the role
Mace is looking for a Digital Engineering and BIM Assistant to support the maintenance and accuracy of client digital twin models. Working under BIM leads, you will update architectural Revit models and ensure asset geometry and data stay current for facilities management and operations.
Key responsibilities
- Update architectural Revit models using space and occupancy requests, redline mark‑ups, CAD drawings and site information.
- Populate and maintain asset metadata in Revit according to defined templates and standards.
- Follow client BIM standards, naming conventions and data requirements when making model updates.
- Perform basic QA/QC checks to verify model accuracy and completeness before submission.
- Support publishing of updated models to Autodesk Forma (or equivalent) for review and approval.
- Assist in addressing review comments, implementing corrections, and publishing approved models to Autodesk Tandem.
- Organise and maintain model files, naming structures and version control within Autodesk Construction Cloud.
- Collaborate with BIM leads and FM stakeholders to clarify modelling requirements and improve consistency using standard families and workflows.
Required profile
- Degree (or currently completing) in architecture, interior design or a related discipline.
- Basic experience with Autodesk Revit (academic or professional).
- Understanding of how building services systems are represented in 3D models.
- Ability to follow structured instructions and standards with strong attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and willingness to learn from senior team members.
- Exposure to collaborative BIM environments such as Autodesk Construction Cloud.
- Basic knowledge of BIM principles, asset parameters and schedules.
- Awareness of ISO 19650 or other BIM standards (beneficial but not essential).
