Display Operative – Automotive Photography & Marketing

About the role

Sytner Select Swindon is seeking a motivated Display Operative to join its team. In this role you will photograph and market trade cars, prepare used vehicles for sale, and keep the electronic auction site up‑to‑date. The position supports both the sales and after‑sales departments to ensure a fast, attractive presentation of stock.

Key responsibilities

• Photograph and edit images of new and used vehicles for online listings.
• Write accurate, compelling descriptions for trade cars and part‑exchange vehicles.
• Update the Sytner Group electronic auction platform regularly.
• Coordinate valeting, dealer transfers, and related administrative tasks for retail used‑car stock.
• Work flexible patterns, including occasional weekends, to maintain high service levels.

Required profile

• Interest in photography, marketing and the automotive sector.
• Clear communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Attention to detail with a knack for describing vehicles accurately.
• Computer literate and comfortable using digital tools.
• Full, valid UK driving licence (beneficial but not mandatory).
