Document Reviewer – Hybrid, London (French advantageous)

About the role
Join a legal team in London as a Document Reviewer, working hybrid with approximately two days per week in the office. You will support investigations by reviewing and managing large volumes of documents, applying legal concepts and ensuring compliance with disclosure requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Engage in team meetings and familiarize yourself with case specifics, demonstrating the ability to understand complex information.
- Review large volumes of documents and evidence with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Utilise digital document review platforms and Excel to describe, categorise and manage substantial data.
- Cross‑reference documents to compile coherent evidence sets and accurately summarise information.
- Identify and appropriately refer any materials that may be subject to Legal Professional Privilege (LPP).
- Learn, retain and apply relevant legal concepts and disclosure principles, including LPP and CPIA requirements.
- Work independently while contributing to team discussions, case reviews and evidence‑related meetings.
- Undertake additional tasks directed by the case team to support ongoing investigations and case progression.
- Participate in an initial training and onboarding period of approximately 2‑4 weeks, with increased office attendance as needed.
Required profile
- A UK degree (Law preferred; Business, Economics or similar also considered).
- Previous experience conducting document review work.
- Experience working with digital document review platforms.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to review large volumes accurately.
- Ability to understand, retain and apply legal concepts and procedural requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
- Desirable: Law degree obtained in England and Wales or equivalent qualification.
- Desirable: Professional legal qualifications such as LPC, BPTC or equivalent.
- Desirable: Experience using Axcelerate or Relativity eDiscovery platforms.
- Desirable: French‑speaking ability (highly advantageous but not essential).
