Drainage Technician

About the role

As a Drainage Technician you will join a two‑person team to carry out asset inspections for a wide range of clients across the UK, including commercial, residential, industrial, rail, road and utility sectors. You will work under the guidance of on‑site engineers and project supervisors while also using your own initiative to resolve issues quickly.

Key responsibilities

• Operate specialised equipment such as CCTV units, HGV jetting units, jet vans, survey/asset vans and patching or lining units.
• Conduct thorough inspections and produce high‑quality reports and feedback for each site.
• Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, quality and environmental standards.
• Report any site incidents promptly to your supervisor.
• Collaborate closely with engineers to complete all work tasks on schedule.
• Maintain strong communication with clients and resolve potential problems early.

Required profile

• Flexibility to work early starts, weekends and out‑of‑hours across the UK.
• Experience in a customer‑focused or health‑and‑safety‑driven environment.
• Self‑motivated, professional and a strong team player.
• Utility‑sector knowledge is a plus but not mandatory.
