About the role
The E-Commerce Controller Sales and Planning will own sales budgeting, forecasting and financial planning for all online markets in the region. Working closely with sales, merchandising, marketing and expansion teams, you will ensure that plans are accurate, aligned with commercial calendars and support business growth.
Key responsibilities
- Set weekly and daily sales forecasts for each market and feed them into P&L planning and formal budgeting processes.
- Monitor regional net sales performance, identify growth opportunities and align insights from sales, web and digital marketing data with commercial decisions.
- Analyse sales, web and customer data to spot trends, commercial opportunities and threats, and translate findings into actionable strategies.
- Partner with logistics to optimise warehouse capacity, ensuring cost‑effective practices that maximise sales and profit.
- Maintain data consistency across planning systems such as Anaplan and Synapps.
Required profile
- Strong financial acumen with experience in sales forecasting, budgeting and online retail financial planning.
- Commercially minded with the ability to interpret e‑commerce KPIs (traffic, conversion, AOV, returns, digital spend) and turn data into strategy.
- Strategic thinker capable of developing long‑term growth plans for the online channel.
- Excellent cross‑functional collaborator, comfortable working with merchandising, marketing, logistics and e‑com operations.
- Clear communicator who can present complex financial data to senior stakeholders.
