About the role
This full‑time position is for an Early Career Teacher (ECT) to join a vibrant primary school in Tower Hamlets or Newham, East London, starting September 2026. You will work in a supportive environment that values inclusive teaching and offers strong mentorship.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging primary lessons across the curriculum.
- Manage classroom behaviour and create a safe learning atmosphere.
- Support pupils with special educational needs (SEN) and additional needs.
- Collaborate with senior leadership and fellow teachers to develop inclusive practices.
- Participate in school-wide events and parent communication.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or pending QTS – ECTs welcome.
- Passion for primary education and willingness to develop classroom management skills.
- Ability to inspire and engage learners from diverse backgrounds.
- Commitment to supporting SEN and inclusive teaching.
Required skills
- Basic knowledge of the national curriculum for primary education.
- Effective communication with pupils, parents, and staff.
