About the role
Teaching Personnel is registering Early Career Teachers (ECTs) for mid‑term and long‑term placements in secondary schools across Teesside and Darlington, starting this September. The role is ideal for newly qualified teachers in English, Maths or Science who want a supportive environment to complete their induction year.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver lessons for Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 pupils in your specialist subject.
- Assess student progress and provide feedback.
- Contribute to the wider school community and follow school policies.
- Participate in induction activities and professional development sessions.
Required profile
- Qualified or completing teacher training in English, Maths or Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics).
- Passionate about inspiring learners and eager to start an ECT induction.
- Willing to work in secondary schools across the Teesside area.
- Eligible to meet statutory safeguarding requirements.
