Electro Mechanical Bench Fitter – £18.50‑£20 per hour

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Electro Mechanical Bench Fitter to join our Manchester team. The role involves hands‑on repair and refurbishment of rotating electro‑mechanical assets in our workshop and occasionally at customer sites.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out electro‑mechanical repair and refurbishment of rotating machinery such as electric motors, pumps and gearboxes.
• Diagnose and identify mechanical and electro‑mechanical faults.
• Dismantle, inspect, repair and re‑assemble equipment.
• Measure component wear using micrometers, verniers, calipers and other precision tools.
• Fit and replace precision components to required limits, fits and tolerances.
• Maintain a clean, safe and well‑organised working environment.

Required profile

• Previous experience as an Electro Mechanical Fitter, Mechanical Fitter or Bench Fitter.
• Enthusiastic, hands‑on approach and ability to work both in the workshop and on‑site.
• Commitment to quality and adherence to engineering standards.
