About the role

Join a market‑leading Employment team in Birmingham, delivering high‑quality legal advice to education and corporate clients. You will work on both contentious and non‑contentious matters, gaining exposure to complex tribunal cases and strategic advisory work.

Key responsibilities

• Advise a diverse portfolio of education and corporate sector clients on employment law.
• Handle contentious and non‑contentious matters, including Employment Tribunal cases.
• Provide counsel on evolving issues such as equality, discrimination and freedom of speech.
• Deliver client training sessions, seminars and legal updates.
• Support business development and strengthen client relationships.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the firm’s national network.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with 1‑5 years post‑qualification experience (PQE).
• Strong analytical and commercial thinking.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Commitment to client service and teamwork.
