Employment Solicitor – 6+ PQE, London

About the role

The Legists is seeking an experienced Employment Solicitor to join its boutique London practice. You will work on a mix of contentious and non‑contentious matters, advising senior executives and corporate clients across a broad spectrum of employment issues.

Key responsibilities

• Lead complex employment tribunal litigation and strategic HR advice.
• Draft and negotiate executive contracts, manage reorganisations, redundancies and employment aspects of corporate transactions.
• Support M&A due diligence and advise on corporate policies.
• Supervise, mentor and delegate work to junior lawyers.
• Contribute to business development and practice growth.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with 6+ years post‑qualification experience (PQE).
• Strong track record in both contentious and non‑contentious employment law.
• Experience representing both employers and senior employees.
• Excellent academic background and high‑quality training.
• Proactive, commercially minded and able to develop client relationships.
