Employment Solicitor – London (Associate / Senior Associate)

About the role

Join a leading international law firm in London as an Employment Associate or Senior Associate, focusing on complex employment litigation. You will work closely with senior partners and experienced specialists to advise major employers on high‑value disputes and strategic workforce matters.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on complex Employment Tribunal litigation and other employment disputes.
• Handle discrimination, whistleblowing and other sensitive employment claims.
• Advise senior executives on disputes, terminations and contentious board‑level matters.
• Manage restrictive covenants, team moves and post‑termination issues.
• Support corporate transactions and business change projects from an employment perspective.
• Provide strategic employment and workforce advice to clients.
• Collaborate with international colleagues on cross‑border employment mandates.
• Advise on trade union and industrial relations matters where relevant.

Required profile

• UK‑qualified Solicitor with 2‑6 years post‑qualification experience.
• Strong contentious employment experience from a leading law firm or recognised practice.
• Proven ability to handle complex Employment Tribunal litigation and sensitive disputes.
• Excellent drafting and client‑facing skills with solid technical knowledge of employment law.
• Experience advising on trade union or industrial relations matters (advantageous but not essential).
