ESEL Surveyor – Retail Pre‑Installation Surveys

About the role

We are seeking detail‑oriented ESEL Surveyors to carry out pre‑installation surveys in major retail and supermarket environments across the UK. You will assess shelving layouts, identify rail types and calculate electronic shelf label (ESL) requirements to ensure accurate and efficient installations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct pre‑installation surveys in retail stores.
• Identify and record shelf rail types and shelving configurations.
• Count and calculate ESL requirements.
• Measure shelving and assess installation needs.
• Complete accurate survey reports and documentation using company systems.
• Obtain customer sign‑off where required.
• Identify potential installation risks or challenges.
• Communicate findings clearly to project teams.
