Estates Supervisor (Electrical Specialist)

About the Role

Join one of the UK's largest NHS Trusts as an Estates Supervisor with a strong electrical bias. Based at the historic St Bartholomew’s Hospital, you will play a critical role in ensuring our infrastructure provides a safe, seamless, and world-class environment for patient care.

Main Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a multidisciplinary estates team to maintain high standards of repair and maintenance across the site.
• Oversee daily estate operations, ensuring all electrical and mechanical systems support clinical excellence.
• Manage statutory compliance, including fire safety, water hygiene, and pressure system inspections.
• Direct and support the team through training, mentorship, and performance guidance.
• Supervise minor installation works and ensure all activities adhere to strict Health & Safety regulations.
• Coordinate testing, inspection, and compliance activities to guarantee site safety.

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience in electrical engineering or a highly technical estates role.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong knowledge of statutory compliance (Water hygiene, Fire safety, Pressure systems).
• Ability to work effectively within a high-pressure healthcare environment.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and patient safety.
