Experienced Metal Polisher – Jewellery Manufacturing

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Metal Polisher to join a well‑established jewellery manufacturing company in Birmingham. You will work with precious metals to deliver premium‑quality finished components for a growing business.

Key responsibilities

• Polish and finish jewellery components to exacting standards.
• Work with gold, silver and platinum using polishing motors, mops, compounds and specialist hand‑finishing tools.
• Remove surface imperfections and prepare items for final inspection.
• Inspect finished pieces to ensure they meet company quality criteria.
• Handle delicate, high‑value jewellery with precision.
• Collaborate with the production team to meet daily targets and customer deadlines.
• Maintain a clean, organised work area and follow Health & Safety procedures.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Metal Polisher in a jewellery manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to achieve high‑quality finishes on precious metal jewellery.
• Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Reliable, hardworking and quality‑focused.
• Capable of working both independently and as part of a skilled team.
