Fabric Engineer – Construction Services

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Fabric Engineer to join our team on a static commercial site in central London. The role is full‑time, Monday to Friday, 8 am‑5 pm, offering a competitive salary of £45,000 plus overtime. You will work on a variety of building‑services tasks, ensuring high‑quality finishes and reliable installations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform tiling, grouting and plastering works.
• Carry out carpentry tasks including door hanging and furniture assembly.
• Install and maintain emergency lighting and fire alarm systems.
• Execute painting, plumbing, drainage and flushing operations.
• Test fire doors and alarm circuits.
• Repair building fixtures such as doors, handles and windows.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a building‑services Fabric Engineer.
• Relevant trade qualifications – C&G or NVQ in any discipline.
• Eligibility to live and work in the United Kingdom.
