Family & Childcare Solicitor (NQ) – London

About the role

Duncan Lewis Solicitors is seeking five newly‑qualified (NQ) Family & Childcare Solicitors to join its award‑winning family law team in London. You will work within a paperless, hybrid‑working environment, providing high‑quality advice and representation to high‑net‑worth individuals and families.

Key responsibilities

• Report directly to the Department Director.
• Handle all aspects of family law work, including divorce, domestic abuse, adoption, child abduction, special guardianship and child protection matters.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members.
• Supervise and mentor solicitors, trainee solicitors and caseworkers.
• Contribute to the delivery of training and professional development within the department.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor (NQ level) regulated by the Solicitor’s Regulation Authority.
• Strong understanding of family and children law, including court advocacy.
• Ability to manage a varied caseload and supervise junior staff.
• Commitment to the firm’s inclusive and diverse culture.
