Family Law Solicitor – Hybrid (Manchester, Bristol, Sheffield, Stratford)

About the role

We are expanding our Family Law team and are looking for newly qualified (NQ) and associate solicitors to join us on a hybrid basis. You will work from home with one day per week in the office and manage a diverse family law caseload.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of a mixed caseload of privately funded family matters, negotiating to achieve the best outcomes for clients.
• Record information accurately using our case management system.
• Meet individual and team chargeable time and profit targets.
• Draft and audit legal documents and correspondence.
• For senior or lead roles, provide line‑management, mentor junior team members, delegate work, act as a subject‑matter expert and contribute to department strategy and marketing.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor or CILEX qualified with experience in privately funded family law.
• Proven ability to meet chargeable and billing targets.
• Strong IT competence, particularly with case management software.
• Excellent relationship‑building, attention to detail, organisational skills and resilience.
