Family Law Solicitor – Hybrid (Manchester/Bristol/Sheffield/Stratford)

About the role

Join a fast‑growing family law team delivering exceptional client service across several UK locations. This hybrid position offers 37.5 hours per week, a competitive salary and the chance to manage a diverse caseload from the outset.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of a mixed caseload of privately funded family law matters, from intake to resolution.
• Negotiate actively to achieve the best outcomes for clients.
• Record information accurately using the firm’s case management system.
• Meet individual and team chargeable‑time and profit targets.
• Draft and audit legal documents and correspondence.
• For senior/lead roles: provide line‑management, mentor junior colleagues, delegate work and contribute to departmental strategy and marketing.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor or CILEX‑qualified with experience in privately funded family law.
• Proven track record of meeting chargeable and billing targets.
• Strong IT competence, including use of a case‑management system.
• Excellent relationship‑building and customer‑service skills.
• High attention to detail, strong organisational ability and resilience.
