Family Solicitor (3+ PQE) – Private Funding

About the role

We are seeking a Family Solicitor with at least three years post‑qualification experience to join a Legal 500 and Chambers‑ranked firm in Reading. The role offers exposure to high‑value, privately funded family law matters within a supportive, collaborative team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of privately funded family law matters.
• Handle divorce and financial remedy cases, including high‑value and complex disputes.
• Represent clients in private children disputes.
• Draft and negotiate pre‑nuptial, post‑nuptial, cohabitation and separation agreements.
• Provide strategic advice on sensitive, high‑net‑worth cases.

Required profile

• Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with 3+ years PQE.
• Strong experience in privately funded family law matters.
• Ability to manage a busy caseload independently.
• Excellent communication with a professional, empathetic approach.
• Ambition to progress within a high‑performing team.
