Family Solicitor – Lead New Office

About the role

Our client, a specialist private family law firm, is expanding its national footprint and seeks a senior family solicitor to establish and lead a new office under the Andrew Isaacs Law brand. You will manage a mixed caseload of children and financial remedy matters, including Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act 1996 (TOLATA) work up to the letter before claim stage.

Key responsibilities

• Independently manage a varied family law caseload with minimal supervision.
• Provide high‑quality client care, advocacy, and commercial advice.
• Develop and grow a local team, driving business development and billing targets.
• Coordinate with senior specialists for complex stages beyond the letter before claim.
• Oversee office administration, compliance and operational processes with recruiter support.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years post‑qualification experience in family law.
• Proven ability to handle complex children and financial remedy cases independently.
• Strong billing history and a proactive business‑development mindset.
• Desire to build and lead a practice in Manchester.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
