Field Service Engineer – Domestic Appliances (Midlands)

About the role

We are seeking an Electro‑Mechanical Engineer to join a family‑run service business as a Field Service Engineer for domestic appliances across the Midlands. The role offers a full product training programme, flexible hours and a local patch with no weekend or overnight stays.

Key responsibilities

• Travel to residential properties across Birmingham, Coventry, Leicester and surrounding areas.
• Service, maintain and repair a range of domestic appliances including white goods, TVs, kitchen equipment, coffee machines and vending machines.
• Diagnose faults, replace components and ensure appliances meet safety standards.
• Maintain accurate service records and communicate with customers professionally.

Required profile

• Qualified Electro‑Mechanical Engineer or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience with small electro‑mechanical equipment such as white goods, coffee machines, vending machines, ATMs or printers.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to work independently and manage a local customer base.
