Finance Analyst / Assistant Finance Business Partner

About the role

The Senior Finance Analyst will partner with operational teams at RHS Wisley Gardens to help achieve financial targets and budgets. You will provide robust analysis, propose solutions, and support the Senior Finance Business Partner in delivering insight that drives decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Support operational teams with monthly P&L reporting, month‑end commentary and variance analysis.
• Deliver financial insights and tools by reviewing internal and external factors.
• Assist the Senior Finance Business Partner in meetings with key financial analysis.
• Provide overall financial insight to support RHS strategic objectives and annual budgeting.
• Develop annual budgets and forecasts in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Ensure accuracy and consistency of financial data across systems and reports.
• Identify and implement improvements to reporting processes, promoting automation initiatives.
• Produce analytical financial and KPI reporting for senior leadership.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
• Experience in finance business partnering within a large, mission‑driven organisation.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive, innovative and able to challenge existing practices constructively.
