Finance Business Partner – Public Sector (Temporary)

About the role

Adecco is recruiting a Finance Business Partner to support the Civil Nuclear Constabulary at the Culham HQ in South Oxfordshire. This full‑time temporary position will help shape financial strategy and drive performance across the public‑sector organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality financial information and advice to influence operational and strategic decisions.
• Support business planning, financial monitoring and alignment with organisational goals.
• Prepare monthly reports for the Board and divisions and assist with business cases for cost‑improvement initiatives.
• Lead financial support for projects and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
• Maintain accurate budgets and deliver up‑to‑date financial management information to budget holders.

Required profile

• Recognised professional accountancy qualification (CIPFA, CIMA, ACCA, etc.).
• Minimum three years of financial management experience in a large, complex organisation.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Excellent communication skills with senior stakeholders.
• Proactive, results‑oriented with strong influencing and leadership capabilities.
