Finance Director – Private Equity Consumer & Multi‑Asset

About the role

We are a fast‑growing, private‑equity backed consumer and multi‑asset business seeking a Finance Director to join the leadership team. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will help shape the next phase of growth, operational maturity and strategic execution.

Key responsibilities

• Partner closely with the CFO to support strategic and operational development.
• Lead the transformation and professionalisation of the finance function across controls, reporting, governance and FP&A.
• Drive financial and operational performance insight across multiple business units and assets.
• Enhance management information, KPI reporting and forecasting to enable data‑driven decisions.
• Lead finance‑related data improvement initiatives, including systems optimisation, BI capability and AI‑driven enhancements.
• Play a central role in acquisition activity – financial due diligence, deal support, integration planning and post‑deal execution.
• Support value‑creation initiatives, scalability and operational efficiency across the group.
• Restructure, develop and upskill the finance team, hiring high‑performing talent as needed.

Required profile

• Proven senior finance leadership experience in a high‑growth, PE‑backed environment.
• Strong exposure to M&A, financial due diligence and post‑acquisition integration.
• Demonstrated ability to lead finance transformation and build scalable finance infrastructure.
• Commercially minded with a track record of delivering value‑creation initiatives.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, working with senior leadership and operational teams.
