Finance Manager – Fast‑track to Finance Director (Real Estate)

About the role

We are seeking a Finance Manager for a fast‑growing, PE‑backed real‑estate business in London. The role offers a clear fast‑track to Finance Director within 18‑24 months and involves leading a small finance team while working closely with senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a finance team of four, as well as the sales/consulting team.
• Own budgeting, forecasting and three‑year financial planning in partnership with the Finance Director.
• Manage month‑end close and prepare board reports with commentary.
• Monitor weekly cash flow and devise strategies to optimise liquidity.
• Oversee the production of all finance accounts, ensuring balance‑sheet and P&L accuracy.
• Design and maintain operational and financial KPIs, delivering actionable insights to senior management.
• Drive finance‑process automation and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Manage relationships with suppliers, banks, investors and overseas partners, providing strategic financial input on commercial projects.

Required profile

• Chartered ACA (or CIMA/ACCA) with 2 years PQE, preferably from audit or fast‑paced commercial finance.
• Strong experience in cash‑flow management, P&L production and budgeting.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and develop junior finance staff.
• Ambitious, commercial‑savvy and able to thrive in a high‑growth environment.
