Graduate Planner Programme – Start Sep 2027

About the role

Join Savills’ Graduate Programme as a Planner starting September 2027. You will work within the UK’s largest planning department, supporting a wide range of property types and high‑profile projects across multiple regions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare planning appraisals, research and analysis, and full planning applications.
• Contribute to Design and Access Statements, Sustainability Statements and other planning documents.
• Assist with Environmental Impact Assessments, from screening to final statements.
• Collaborate with senior planners and multidisciplinary teams on urban regeneration, housing, retail, energy and infrastructure schemes.

Required profile

• High attention to detail, well‑organised and proactive.
• Strong verbal, numerical and report‑writing abilities.
• Team player with leadership potential and a collaborative mindset.
• Motivated, resilient and able to challenge constructively.

Required skills

• Understanding of UK planning legislation and processes.
• Familiarity with Environmental Impact Assessment regulations.
• Ability to produce planning documentation such as Design and Access Statements.
