Finance Manager

About the role

Mother Root is building an in‑house finance function and needs a Finance Manager to become the engine room of the department. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will own the full accounting cycle, from first entry of transactions to the production of finished management accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Take over bookkeeping oversight previously handled by an outsourced provider.
• Manage month‑end close processes and ensure timely, accurate reporting.
• Prepare and present management accounts for senior leadership.
• Maintain the integrity of financial data throughout the accounting cycle.
• Collaborate with the Finance Executive during the transition period.

Required profile

• Proven experience in finance or accounting, preferably within a fast‑growing consumer business.
• Strong understanding of full‑cycle accounting and month‑end procedures.
• Ability to work autonomously while partnering closely with senior finance leaders.
